My name is Mrs. Haynal. I am so excited to be teaching  your 3rd and 4th grade children new reading and comprehension strategies this school year. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from UNLV. I am also a Project STARS certified reading teacher. I have been teaching 9 years, 4 of those years virtually at NVVA.

When I am not busy teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and two children: Isabella, age 11 and Wyatt, age 7. I am also an avid yogi. It helps keep me balanced!

My favorite children’s book is The Witches by Roald Dahl. He is also my favorite children’s author. He is a legend in my mind. My favorite game is Apples to Apples. My family and I play it frequently.
